Xanitos is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

  • Remote Position - Ideally located out of Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia or New York*

Identifies reporting inconsistencies within the business units and sets standards for budgeting, performance metrics and reporting. Confirms that the financial strategies and initiatives are integrated with corporate and business strategies. Heads financial analysis for informing pricing scenarios and business models. Analyzes opportunities and risk and recommends alternatives to senior management. Prepares and distributes monthly/quarterly financial reports with operating results. Provides quantitative and qualitative analysis of key variances and trends. Partners with leaders across the company to contribute to strategic planning efforts and influences positive decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • This role involves managing forecasts, budgets, plan consolidation, variance analysis, and supporting strategic planning.
  • The Manager sets standards, provides leadership, and ensures alignment between business and financial forecasts.
  • Key responsibilities include enhancing decision-making, overseeing financial plans for business units, and driving business intelligence across Xanitos.
  • The position requires collaboration with Sales and Operations Teams as well as with the Executive Team.
  • Develop solutions for insightful business performance analysis, portfolio profitability, and actionable insights.
  • Establish and implement modern FP&A best practices, procedures, and tools for timely and accurate forecasting.
  • Direct the preparation and automation of financial performance reporting, metrics, and analysis.
  • Facilitate the review of business performance and analyze consolidated operating results.
  • Assist business segments in analyzing pricing, cost structures, and competitiveness.
  • Work with budget owners to establish and align annual budgets, monitor spending, and quantify actual results.
  • Prepare presentations on consolidated, divisional, and unit business performance and planning metrics for the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Align data with regional business plans and forecasts, ensuring accuracy in financial forecasting processes.
  • Participate in financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and lead FP&A integration for new acquisitions.
  • Leads real-time financial performance monitoring.
  • Escalates any financial issues to management.
  • Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
  • Completes market research and comparable company analysis.
  • Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
  • Presents detailed monthly financial reports to managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Certified public accountants (CPA) or certified financial analysts (CFA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting, including experience with revenue, margin, and cost analyses.
  • Previous experience with a PE owned company preferred.
  • Sound understanding of contract services, ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
  • Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills.
  • Collaborates well with colleagues using adept social skills.
  • Works independently using project management skills.
  • Builds strong working relationships and has exceptional leadership skills.
  • Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Solid management skills and business acumen with experience in forecasts and budgets.
  • Some travel required for meetings and presentations, but not extensive.

The expected salary range for this position ranges from $125,000 to $160,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position).
