Position Title:

Pharmacy Business Analyst Internship - Summer 2024, Undergraduate

Job Description:

A Pharmacy Business Analyst Intern will be responsible for learning about the role of a business analyst, where duties may include but not be limited to translating basic business needs into functional business requirements, documenting business requirements, working closely with technical partners to ensure a seamless transition of business requirements into technical requirements based on acceptance criteria.

The Pharmacy Business Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to do innovative work that will lead to greater care for our members, greater value for our customers, and greater health care for our communities. They will gain relevant industry experience throughout the duration of the internship.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a program of study at an accredited college/university.
  • Expected to graduate and be available to for hire in spring/summer 2025
  • Majoring in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Information Systems, or similarly related majors
  • Ability to work full time for the duration of the summer internship program
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Interested in process improvements
  • Majoring in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Information Systems, or similarly related majors
  • Familiarity with Visio or other process flow diagram software a plus
