A day in the life…

The Senior Public Relations Brand Manager is responsible for developing and managing communication plans and managing teams to support corporate/product/fashion public relations (PR) strategies to achieve results.  

  • Establish goals and develop strategies to support Company objectives.
  • Ensure the development, implementation and ongoing management of public relations programs.
  • Write press releases, communications plans, speeches, and internal communications.
  • Effectively respond to media inquiries, acting as company spokesperson as needed.
  • Communicate progress and other key updates to key internal executive management teams and stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Partner with management to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans.
  • Stay current on industry practices, audience perception, and key trends assessing and communicating their potential impact on the business.
  • Fluent in Social Media and develops and maintains relationships with relevant Social Media Influencers.
  • Effectively hire, develop and supervise an efficient and effective team of employees.
  • Manage financial aspects and budgets to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Ensure alignment on priorities and direction by partnering with other groups and leaders.       


You own this if you have…

  • Bachelor's degree ­­­is ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­preferred in ­­­­­­­­­­­­communications, marketing or journalism.
  • 10 years' experience with progressively increasing responsibilities, revenue goals, and team size.
  • 5 years' management experience in communications, public relations, public affairs or related field.
  • Passion and understanding of retail and fashion.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior leadership across a diverse set of organizations and functions.
  • Strong strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and audience perception as necessary.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal (including presentation) communication and strong interpersonal skills.
