We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Grant Writing Manager located remotely in the USA or Europe to join our Strategic Collaborations team. The manager will be expected to form partnerships with and work directly with key academic, biotech and pharma clients and their appropriate principal investigators to assist these clients in acquiring funding for specific studies and grants that will benefit from Quanterix Simoa technology. They will also work with internal R&D, marketing and product management resources to further develop and prioritize our biomarker pipeline in the context of new grant and study opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Collaborate closely with Lead Principal Investigators and funding agencies to help drive studies and grant awards for studies which would benefit from Simoa biomarker technology
  • Work with customers to understand limitations on progressing their use of Quanterix technology, and assist at finding opportunities to address these limitations and get studies and grants funded and executed appropriately
  • Assist customers in completing & submitting grant proposals for research projects and studies that would benefit from Simoa Technology
  • Work closely with the Quanterix Product Management team, providing critical customer input to drive product development with an emphasis on the prioritization of appropriate biomarkers
  • Collaborate with the Chief Science and Collaborations Officer to manage new opportunities and evaluate potential new projects from customer concept through execution in our Accelerator lab
  • Research and stay abreast of programs from the NIH, International funding organizations, Disease specific foundations (ADDF, MJFF for example) and other relevant funding sources
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to understand customer needs and opportunities for grant or funding assistance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Immunology 
  • 3+ years of post-doc and/or equivalent industry experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience writing successful grant and study submissions
  • Working knowledge of research compliance policies and federal grant regulations

  • Must be self-directed, possess ability to use high degree of judgment, work independently with minimal supervision and handle complex confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize across responsibilities, navigate ambiguity, and to manage varied commitments, competing deadlines, and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to travel to clients or funding agency sites occasionally when necessary as well as travel to the home office quarterly to coordinate with internal team and support members
  • Fluent in English, other language knowledge a bonus but not required
