Position Summary

The IT HR Lead Business Analyst is a position within BCG's Business Systems Group (BSG). The role of the BSG includes developing and enhancing applications, as well as integrating and configuring custom and third party applications used by the Global HR, Finance, Marketing and Legal functions. The BSG supports the Global Leadership team and end users by partnering in the delivery of enabling technologies, innovative technical solutions, change management efforts, and providing data to help run the business.

The IT HR Lead Business Analyst will join a dynamic global matrix-ed team with primary responsibility for the design, configuration, deployment and support of BCG's global Consulting employee satisfaction application (PTO – Predictability, Teaming and Open Communications). The Lead Analyst will serve as the key liaison with the Global PTO team, application vendor and internal development team to manage ongoing enhancements and change requests related to system development lifecycle - requirements, configuration, testing, documentation, end user training, and application support.  The Lead Analyst must be able to set direction for his/her own work area, seeking input and guidance from the IT HR Senior Manager, only as needed.  This person will ultimately become a subject matter expert on whom stakeholders and application vendors can rely for input and guidance to resolve their system and related process challenges.

The ideal candidate is someone who works independently and effectively with Global stakeholders, and internal and external teams with minimal guidance from leadership, but who can easily identify when to escalate and make others aware of decisions, or seek input. The person who will be best suited to this role will demonstrate good judgment, be willing to take calculated risks, build a strong network to engage in solving complex problems, and thrive on the challenge of switching gears across multiple activities simultaneously.

To be successful, this individual must have a sense of urgency in task execution, be well organized, and be interested in meeting high expectations while working in a very rewarding environment offering exceptional opportunities for learning and growth.
