This Sales Specialist IHC is responsible for driving and delivering revenue and expanding market share of the Advanced Staining (IHC) portfolio of Leica Biosystems in East Europe with strong focus on the Polish market. In close collaboration with the distribution partner and Application Consultant IHC, Pharma, CRO’s, Biotech, industry research institutes and (Academic) Universities, are developed and managed in East Europe. The individual will be responsible for developing the sales strategy for the LBS product portfolio in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager East Europe. He or she will be accountable for the successful execution of this strategy by full and proactive sales cycle activity including prospecting, funnel management, needs analysis, demo management (with technical sales specialists), customer conversion and closing.

This position is part of the Northern and Eastern Europe Team and will will be located in Poland and work remotely from home with travel across the region (East Europe but majority focus in Poland) to visit clients. The ideal candiadte is located in Warsaw area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual pipeline, orders and sales targets, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal and market share goals.
  • Actively prospect both within and outside Leica Biosystems customer base and follow up leads to consistently and continually increase pipeline volume and quality
  • Actively manage existing Leica Biosystems Accounts in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and maximize sales potential through repeated business
  • Develop and maintain an accurate weekly forecast of sales projects substantiated by accurate documentation and planned follow up actions
  • Identify all key stakeholders in sales projects and then develop and execute strategies and tactics to successfully win business in a way that provides sustained value to both customer and LBS
  • Collaborate with LBS EU SU colleagues to identify and develop opportunities across the entire LBS portfolio products in order to deliver increased customer value
  • Develop territory-based reference site customers for demo visits by prospective customers

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Health care & Life Science industry: knowledge of technologies, processes and selling/purchasing within the territory. It would be advantageous for the candidate to have an appreciation and high level understanding of IHC and overall Pathology workflow and solutions
  • Proven track record of sustained growth in a territory, selling complex workflow-changing solutions to Life Science customers
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Financial acumen: budgets, forecasting, providing quotations, participation to tenders and managing priorities to meet revenue targets.
  • In depth understanding of the requirements and the importance to follow procedures and process as it is a highly regulated sector by the FDA and other governmental bodies.
  • Fluent Polish and English language skills
