About the Role:

If you are crazy about our Brands and products and if you are looking for a career in the commercial areas of a Business Unit, this project can be interesting for you!

The program offers the opportunity to explore the commercial areas of Ferrero through a structured three-year job rotation path involving Sales and Trade Marketing functions

You will deep dive first in the Sales world, gaining direct experience in overseeing and executing commercial strategies within the point of sales of our major clients as Field Key Account. 

In the following years you will challenge yourself within the Trade Marketing department, leveraging on your knowledge to merge Marketing and Sales strategies in order to enable the best experience for our shoppers. 

Main Responsibilities:

Sales experience

You will engage with industry professionals, managers and entrepreneurs, gaining insights into their perspectives and needs and into market dynamics. 

You will be responsible for the performance of your area, by visiting our point of sales you will ensure that our products are available and correctly positioned, that prices and promotional materials are visible and that merchandising activities are carried out.

You will explore and provide insights into business growth opportunities, optimizing our positioning and guiding innovative commercial approaches.

You will also be involved in cross functional activities with the Trade Marketing department.

Trade & Shopper Marketing experience

The Trade&Shopper Marketing function consists of several teams, you will have the chance to explore the management of either:

  • category activation plans: by creating and carrying out sell-in and sell-out strategies
  • shopper marketing: developing knowledge on shoppers’ drivers and purchasing barriers, by analyzing shopper insights to create category business opportunities and to define guidelines
  • customer marketing: by analysing the category potential for customers and Ferrero and proposing the customer-related development strategy
  • revenue & pricing: by defining pricing strategies for our clients, ensuring customers and Ferrero’s revenue

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your Master’s Degree background in Economics and up to 1 year experience in Marketing or Trade & Shopper Marketing

Your understanding of different markets and cultures and strong analytical skills will be great asset for us, together with your solid ability to use MS-Office applications (PowerPoint, Word) and Excel (i.e. pivot table, v-look up). 

Your fluency in both English and Italian are key elements to be successful in this role and driving license is required as you will be visiting our point of sales in the assigned area.
