Product Manager, Strategic Initiatives– Denver, CO & New York, NY

In this role you will develop, enhance, and optimize advertising and marketing related features and functionalities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, design teams to define the product strategy, prioritize features and ensure successful execution of on-site advertising initiatives. Throughout the lifecycle, the Product Manager gathers feedback, monitors performance metrics, and iterates on the advertising solutions to maximize revenue while maintaining a positive user experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize advertising-related features & functionalities across WU Web, App, Customer emails and Physical receipts to enhance user engagement and drive revenue
  • Partner with Marketing, UX, Legal and other internal product teams to write Epics, User stories and drive timely execution towards launch
  • Evaluate and recommend new vendors and tools to complement current capabilities
  • Partner with the technology and marketing teams, serving as the business lead for integrations with the CMS
  • Work globally and cross-functionally with engineers, data analysts, product marketing managers and other cross-functional partners for successful development and go-to-market efforts
  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with marketing objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to translate marketing requirements into technical specifications and collaborate on the implementation of new epics and features.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends, providing valuable insights for product enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and milestones.
  • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize product performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management within a marketing context, demonstrating successful project execution.
  • Knowledgeable about MarTech/AdTech, programmatic media, ad personalization, privacy regulations
  • Understand modern content management system (CMS) & data platforms and how teams use that data to power their digital experiences
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams, understanding technical aspects to facilitate smooth communication and project implementation.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align product initiatives with broader marketing goals.
  • Proficient in data analysis to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making.

Salary

The salary range is $107,812 - $164,450 per year, total on-target compensation includes a base salary and short-term incentive that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
