Job Description Summary

Help us revolutionize the power grid and the energy we use through smart grid technologies.

As our new Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for creating strong working relationships and influence across product management, engineering, and other functional groups, to contribute to the definition and to execute the product strategy for a specific perimeter of GE Vernova GridOS DERMS product.

Job Description

Context

Within GE Vernova, the Grid Software business division develops critical software to equip the control rooms of nation-wide or state-wide electrical grid operators. Those operators use GIS, ADMS, EMS, MMS, Analytics and DERMS software to ensure the real-time and look-ahead operation of both electricity transmission and distribution grids, as well as wholesale electricity markets. Altogether, these software form GridOS, the world’s first grid software portfolio designed for grid orchestration. 40% of Transmission & 30% of Distribution utilities use GE software to transport and distribute electrical power in a safe, reliable manner and with the right quality of service to their end customers. Within this portfolio, GridOS DERMS allows utilities to connect and manage an ever-growing influx of Distributed Energy Resources (solar power, wind power, battery storage, electrical vehicle charging, heat pumps, demand response, etc.) without jeopardizing the reliability and quality of service of the Distribution Grid.
