Position Overview

Join Freddie Mac’s Enterprise Graduate Risk Rotation Program that allows you to take your advanced studies to the next level to explore the different areas of risk management. You’ll begin as a cohort of fellow graduates and peers, and participate in a 24-month program that includes two 12-month rotations before you are placed in a permanent position. The work you’ll be doing in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) division or other risk areas is high-profile and highly rewarding. You’ll collaborate with some of the brightest financial minds in the industry, developing your knowledge of risk management. Whether you find your place in Market Risk, Consumer Credit Risk, Model Risk, Commercial Real Estate Risk, Market & Liquidity Risk or Counterparty Risk, you will gain the necessary skills to begin a career in risk management.

As a participant in our Graduate Risk Rotation Program, you will learn to evaluate and manage risks across the organization with the ability to work in several areas of risk management on one or more of the following activities:
* Assist in the assessments of business unit exposures, identifying risks, evaluating their potential impact and reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of the organization’s existing controls
* Involved in strategic planning and change management initiatives
* Involved with budgeting, forecasting and monitoring costs
* Perform project management activities
* Support execution of our communication strategy
* Work on special projects

Qualifications

* MBA, or advanced degree in business administration, finance, marketing/communications economics, or a related discipline
* Minimum cumulative 3.4 GPA or equivalent
* Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
* High emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
* Organizational and time management skills
* Ability to begin full time employment in 2018 (January or June)
