Full job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create cads based on approved design concepts
  • Build technical packages including sketches, measurements, details, color and material placement for factory proto sample making
  • Prepare cad boards for design presentations
  • Understanding of entire design and product development process
  • Owning and updating changes made at any sample review stage
  • Participating in design and proto reviews with the Design Team and Product Development team
  • Paying attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and proactive work ethic
  • Skills to multitask and manage competing calendar deadlines
  • Work closely & communicate with cross functionally with Product Development
  • Organize seasonal materials/binders/files
  • Update specs in prep for pre-production process
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Must be resourceful & self motivated

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of design experience
  • High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and Microsoft Office
  • Strong Illustrator sketching & technical spec’ing experience
  • Understanding of material viability and construction
  • Knowledge of handbag and small leather goods construction required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must provide digital portfolio of work

Salary Range: The pay range of this position is $70k - $80k. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate’s skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits
