Test Developer

Type: Hybrid/Full-Time

Level: Mid-Senior

You will make an impact in the following way: 

• Automated testing of embedded software in Python
• You analyze test results regarding bugs and usability
• Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing for the design team
• Dedicate your creativity to a cross-functional, self-organized, agile team of developers
• Communicate with product owners, software architects and application developers in an intercultural and global work environment
• Support the introduction or implementation of state-of-the-art test tools/frameworks

What you will bring: 

• Education –Master's or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent
• Experience – You have a profound experience in state-of-the-art test methodology and testing framework, implementing automated tests, including unit, functional, and integration tests
• Knowledge and skills– Deep understanding of Layer 2 and 3 routing and switching and very good understanding of data structures and scripting languages, especially Python
• Personality – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a self-motivated and proactive approach to work, you excel as a team player, adapt quickly to changing environments and emerging technologies
• Language proficiency – Fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability or willingness to work in German-speaking environment
