As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence, VPG Foil Resistors is currently seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team, offering exciting opportunities for those passionate about contributing to the forefront of precision technology. The Business Development Manager will be sitting in Denmark but will be responsible for exploring the Scandinavian region.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes customer growth and revenue
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective leads and opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new market segments and new territories in emphasis on: Data Center Fiber Optics, ATE/Semiconductor, EV Battery Management Infrastructure, Space Satellite Communication, Industrial Automation and more
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs through the assistance of Application Engineering and R&D
  • Possessing a strong understanding of VPG Foil Resistors products, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering to ensure that tech requirements are met
  • Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry players and stay up to date with new trends in different market segments
  • A strategic and creative mind to understand and propose products or solutions to customers and have a solid understanding of business and marketing principles
  • Open new opportunities in market segments that were not yet identified and exist within the portfolio of VPG Foil Resistors

Requirements

BSC- or Beng required

5+ years of face-to-face technical electronics sales experience with design-in objectives

Passive components experience is a plus

Strong communication skills in both Danish and English
