Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of writing and editing experience at a leading business publisher, a professional services firm or a multilateral institution
  • Superb writing, editing, and problem-solving skills as demonstrated by an ability to synthesize research and interviews into persuasive argument 
  • High-level understanding of global business and management trends, and detailed knowledge of one or more industries
  • Creativity, self-motivation, and a dedication to teamwork
  • Knowledge of digital/multimedia and online publishing will be an added advantage

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in Mumbai and will be a part of our Communications team. You will work with partners and various colleagues to help write, edit, and disseminate knowledge.

What You'll Do

You will use your editorial skills to help communicate our knowledge externally and within the firm.

​You will collaborate with practices and partners to publish impactful content and build a pipeline of content for publication on mckinsey.com, McKinsey Quarterly and external media channels. You will also help write and edit reports, whitepapers and Op-Ed articles for publication. You will work with authors to develop persuasive storylines, write compelling drafts, discuss and develop changes, and see projects through to completion

You will help cull out short-format pieces, and LinkedIn posts from longer, analytical research and analysis and help write and edit internal communications.

You will work with the external relations team to develop audio, video content for online and social media, in a world rapidly moving from print to digital. You will also work closely with the global editorial team to improve content and knowledge from the India office.
