Job Summary:

The Marketing Project Specialist is responsible for planning and managing the execution of marketing projects aligned with Zurn Elkay’s strategic initiatives and business unit deliverables. Their duties include scoping marketing deliverables, developing project timelines & dependencies, coordinating resources and inputs needed to deliver objectives of the project, and implementing process improvements to drive Zurn Elkay’s culture of continuous improvement. This position can be in Downers Grove, IL or Milwaukee, WI and reports directly to the Marketing Analytics Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating the production of marketing content to support Zurn Elkay & business units’ strategic initiatives including product pages, videos, sell sheets, etc.
  • Manage go-to-market plans including tasks, budget, timelines, and dependencies aligned to overall project.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to capture product value proposition and scope supporting deliverables.
  • Coordinate usage of marketing content across digital platforms (web, eCommerce, etc.).
  • Develop and grow personal knowledge and expertise in product lines and vertical markets to optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Assign resources to tasks based on capacity & skillset, gaining alignment with Creative leads.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing initiatives
  • Seek and implement process improvements to drive our culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working in industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience overseeing marketing deliverables for new product launches.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g. Wrike, ClickUp, etc.).
  • Experience with marketing platforms (e.g. CMS, HubSpot, HighSpot, social media, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a wide range of business stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, desire to learn and contribute.
  • Builds strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Manages complexity by making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Communicates effectively by developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Instills trust by gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Actively seeks new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.
  • Must be able to travel up to 5-10% of the time.
