HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Review tickets planned for upcoming release, maintain organization, manage critical issue escalation by determining next steps, and encourage the team to update their tickets so they are well defined and documented (e.g. completed comps, technical and end-user acceptance criteria).
  • Verify applicable regression, automation, and release testing validation is conducted while identifying, managing, and resolving release risks that affect scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Manage team documentation, help develop Ways of Working, document meeting recap and decisions, and communicate weekly progress.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for improvement, and enforcement of quality standards and processes in all areas of the team using Disciplined Agile tool sets.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (e.g. switches, thermostats, new exploratory devices, etc.) to obtain proper certification or security penetration testing required for deployment.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with Platform Engineers across multiple platforms on timelines and triage dependencies and issues via video conference calls and chat tools.
  • Communicate with Senior Delivery Manager and other partners to ensure understanding of release scope including any dependencies or performance monitoring required.
  • Lead the team to identify dependencies and collaboratively align delivery plans and releases with impacted systems, architecture, and API teams via focused and collaborative ceremonies and working sessions.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Projects to enhance the Hilton mobile app with rich content and new feature enhancements.
  • Delivery management of an agile team from refinement through release and deployment of new features and enhancements to the Hilton mobile app.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • One (1) year of experience in Mobile app Delivery
  • One (1) year of experience participating on teams in a Software Engineering organization
  • Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or other Agile Certification
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience 
  • Five (5) + years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Experience in Software Delivery of Mobile Apps
  • Understanding of Cloud, DevOps, DRE, and Platform Architecture to validate solutions are well defined and dependencies or infrastructure needs for a solution's development, testing, and deployment are identified
  • Experience assisting, or supporting of communications, (verbal and written) among team members, delivery partners, and platform engineers
