The Location: The position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The Role: As an Assistant Manager & Editor for our Islamabad office you will be managing a team of newswriters and editors producing news articles about retail companies based throughout the world, including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
The Team: As part of a newsroom of more than 250 reporters, editors and newswriters located across five continents, our Assistant Editors have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and are able to develop a close team dynamic with co-workers from around the globe.
The Impact: Our real-time, subscription-based news service reaches an influential readership, and includes coverage of retailers passionate about apparel; footwear; luxury goods; consumer electronics; home furnishings; home improvement; and sporting goods. It also includes major multiline retailers/department stores and online/internet retail operations. You will have the chance to lead this global team producing this content.

Education Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's/college degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies or equivalent.
Experience Requirements: At least 2-3 year(s) working experience as a writer or editor.
Work Shift: This position is a night shift, approximately 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
