Position Overview:

This position provides Human Resource support to corporate groups within NUSA. This HR leadership position will be accountable for leading change initiatives, sourcing, developing and retaining talent, and coaching leadership to improve culture. The Manager, Human Resources Business Partner will develop and sponsor initiatives to drive employee engagement and enablement, maintain positive employee relations and proactive communication, manage performance and talent development cycles, complete workforce planning for designated client groups, interpret policy and manage internal investigations, administer and advise on compensation decisions and ensure compliance with Company values, HR policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities:

Provide HR generalist support and leadership with respect to day-to-day HR life cycle activities of client groups including:

  • Manage talent assessment, coaching and development, performance management, proactive workforce planning and succession planning processes for designated client groups. Facilitate succession planning sessions and performance calibration sessions for client groups.
  • Attract, develop and drive retention of employees. Leverage talent acquisition support and processes to retruit internally and to develop targeted external recruiting efforts for critical competencies. Develop client and organizational specific retention strategies, development efforts, and knowledge transfer processes as needed. Lead and champion compliance with workforce diversity and Affirmative Action plan compliance requirements.
  • Drive a progressive, proactive, positive employee relations culture and increase levels of engagement, enablement, and retention. Leverage systems and processes including round tables, organizational health action plans, and departmental communication and best practice initiatives.
  • Manage compensation plan for the group(s) in conjunction with corporate compensation philosophy and groups functional pay norms. Oversee position-planning system to include accurate job descriptions, job analysis, accountabilities and task analysis. Manage wage and salary administration, including base salary, incentive plans and other non-cash programs based on Company guidelines. 
  • Coach, influence and provide guidance to business partners to determine optimal organizational design, development and performance management plans, to manage employee relations issues and other policy issues while ensuring compliance with relevant and current HR legal standards including FMLA, ADA, and EEO.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations and Nestlé standards.
  • Partner with the finance team to insure that strict adherence to budget is managed effectively.
  • Drive high performance culture by providing guidance, direction and leadership on all human resource activities. 
  • Champion and lead Leadership Development focus, LEAN Supply Chain initiatives and Education and Training efforts
  • Assess, develop and facilitate training sessions on HR topics such as PDP (People, Development & Performance), new hire onboarding, Employee Development, Diversity and Inclusion, and other compliance and legally required trainings as needed. 
  • Participate in college and professional recruiting, as needed.
  • Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of HR data, including including processing SAP data, such as Employee Action Forms and maintenance and upgrading of systems and training and related activities
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) required. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations. Human Resource experience must include HR Generalist, operational experience and change leadership/cultural development focus. 
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with clients to solve business/operational issues through the application of progressive people systems practices.
  • Corporate Headquarter experience a plus
  • Knowledge of basic HR law required. Knowledge of HR applications preferred.
  • Abilitly to gain trust and buy-in with all levels of employees.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement programs and team environments. 
  • Strong grasp of Federal & State Employment Laws.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and prefer SAP HR knowledge.
