Provide support to existing EDW in shift as support team member
Perform detailed application debugging and Root Cause Corrective Actions
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, polices, and procedures, Complete other duties as assigned
Extensive experience in Production Support Project & having good understanding of support environments and Service Level Agreements
Experience in handling major incidents and escalations.
Diagnosing and resolving data and system issues to ensure warehouse usability for the consumers of the warehouse data
Performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the software applications.
Technical skills:
Experience in Cloud-based (Azure, AWS and Google Cloud) Application Support, ideally in a Managed services environment.
Experience in supporting core business applications within a Software development environment, ideally Azure DW and Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse.
Experience in Databases and writing complex SQL queries.
Experience in managing data security, confidentiality, integrity and availability.
Experience in application monitoring and alerts.
Good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills, quick learner.
Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworks
Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation in Azure.
Create and maintain data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
Utilizing Azure Data Factory or comparable technologies, create and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures will ensure the quality, integrity, and dependability of the data.
Improve the scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines.
Monitoring and resolving data pipeline problems will guarantee consistency and availability of the data.
