The challenge

The Digital Strategy group works with C-level leadership at Adobe’s Enterprise customers to advise on strategies for customer-experience transformation and digital innovation. Our engagements employ Adobe’s digital benchmarking capabilities, industry trends, customer-journey mapping, organizational assessments and other techniques to deliver high-impact recommendations. Today, Adobe is at the forefront of enabling our customers’ digital transformation and new experience-led business models. This has translated into a stock price appreciation of nearly 5x from June 2012 to June 2017.

As a Lead Digital Strategist, you will focus on an industry and lead strategy engagements with current and prospective Adobe customers. For each engagement, you will quarterback a team of experts (in areas such as digital marketing, customer-experience design, and marketing analytics) to conduct analyses and interviews, develop insights, and deliver your findings and recommendations. You will be a peer to C-suite executives and use your experience to become a trusted partner and advisor. You will be a thought leader on trends, digital innovation, use cases for Adobe technology, and relevant research in your industry. You will partner with other Adobe teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Professional Services) to prioritize your pipeline of customer opportunities. You will also join a talented and motivated team, including alumni from top consulting firms and leading Digital organizations.

What you need to succeed

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Relevant experience in either
  • The marketing function within a leading company
  • A top-tier management consulting organization
  • A top-tier digital agency
  • Expertise in one of the following industries: Financial Services, Retail / eCommerce, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality, Healthcare, High Tech
  • Experience in creating digital or marketing strategies along with a high-level understanding of the technologies and tactics needed for execution
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage, advise and inspire C-suite executives
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing insights & recommendations
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
