Firehouse Subs is undergoing an exciting digital transformation. Five years ago, digital sales were less than 5% of our business. Today, we are nearly at 50% and on our way to a 100% digital. We are hiring a Product Manager, Digital Experience, to lead our efforts to transform our in-restaurant experience for US and Canada.

Reporting to the Group Product Manager of our 1st Party team, this role will be pivotal in driving the development and implementation of technology solutions at our restaurants, including kiosks, digital shelving, and order ready screens, and digital drive-thrus. 

You will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our products, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, alongside our technology providers and franchisees, to ensure the success of our initiatives across various digital channels. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a comprehensive customer experience strategy that improves guest and team member experience for at-restaurant experiences 
  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business objectives and valuable customer insights. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including Operations, Restaurant Technology, Engineering, and Marketing 
  • Lead build, buy, partner technology decisions. Manage technology providers and deliver excellent solutions on a predictable timeline 
  • Manage franchisee committees, building relationships with franchisees and gathering valuable input on digital projects 
  • Provide updates to senior leadership, including our Brand President, and our franchise advisory board 
  • Be accountable for driving the right outcome and business results - even if it goes beyond the role and scope 

Required Skills: 

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with at least 8 years of product management experience, preferably in the restaurant or technology industry. 
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or sciences 
  • Ability to gather insights from data; SQL, Tableau or Looker experience 
  • Vendor management, including selection and contract negotiations
  • Experience working with digital platforms, such as kiosks or point of sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in both tactical and strategic capacities
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and franchise systems
