Team Lead, Payroll & Benefits (AVP-VP, HR) - (WD63036)
Job Objective:
This role is designed to oversee and to ensure a timely and accurate delivery with scope defined as below.
- Payroll processing
- Benefit (both statutory and company supplementary) administration
- Shares program operational process
- Finance related process (including but not limited to GLAO, MJE, etc)
- Mobility processing (immigration process, staff movement settlement, etc.)
- Relevant vendor mgmt., risk mgmt., initiatives, etc.
- To initial/ manage continuously improvement by creating, reviewing and maintaining SOPs, Operation Manuals, conducting root cause analysis on issues, etc. to uplift operation in a higher maturity level
- In addition, as one of the key team leads in HRSS, the role is to be assigned risk control related responsibilities.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Take charge of Payroll & Benefits team operation and management, including payroll, expatriate management, share plan and payroll related finance processes with service criteria
- Set team criteria and KPI to acquire internal customer’s acceptance
- Develop and optimize working processes/ procedures including but not limited to payroll related process, GLAO process, MJE process, staff account administration process etc.
- Lead team to provide reward admin services on timely manner
- Guide team to initiate and implement relevant initiatives/ projects effectively to support business growth, operation continuous improvement, etc.
- Provide changes or innovations where desirable to improve vendor service and internal work efficiency
- Vendor management including but not limited to service level agreement review, payment management, contract management, etc.
- Process management, enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Reinforce the risk control management
- Ensure compliance with the local regulations and policy
- Other assignments from direct supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above and major in human resource management or related field
- At least 10 years working experience, including 5 years in management experience
- Finance related background is a plus
- Experience in project management, process enhancement, etc. is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Chinese Labor Law, local regulations
- Strong people skills and people management skill, good organizing and planning skills, and strong in multi-task management
- Can-do attitude and be proactive and logical
- Good communication skills, and a great sense of commitment
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Expertise in compensation & benefit, shares management, finance accounting and individual income tax knowledge.
