Position Summary

The HR Manager (Serbia and Bosnia) provides leadership and guidance to business leaders and other HR groups as it relates to the execution of various business initiatives, statutory compliance and local workplace issue. The position works closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), business leaders, legal, security and other stakeholders.
The positon provides the focus and coordination for in-country enterprise wide HR issues, and serves on the Serbia Leadership Council

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage the local Field HR Team, including performance management/reviews, objective setting, development plans and driving a high performing team, and act as coach and mentor to the wider HR team in Serbia.
  • Participate as an integral member of the local Serbia Leadership Council
  • Interface with employees and managers to resolve employment issues; partnering with managers to increase their understanding of HR practices and improve their management skills.
  • Act as change agent in the organization, sponsoring change initiatives in support of NCR and the HR model
  • Consult with functional HR SBPs to understand and drive execution of business plans and other initiatives/programs requiring field HR support.
  • Coordinate with HR Strategic Business Partners in the execution of the people strategy for company workforce initiatives such as reductions in force, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide insight to the business and HR COEs relative to country specific HR/people issues, such as statutory changes, country trends, etc.
  • Ensure a strong foundation supported by the appropriate NCR policies, processes, statutory compliance and management practices that will ensure a vibrant and productive organization.
  • Manage employee relation issues such as harassment, discrimination, conflict or the



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Management or related field
  • 15+ years’ Human Resources experience
  • 5 years’ experience managing others
  • Superior self awareness
  • Customer focused with ability to quickly build strong relationships across the organization
  • Proven ability to successfully facilitate, drive and execute initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of labor environment, employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Ability to facilitate difficult conversations and influence leaders
  • Excellent English required, other languages a plus
  • Strong listening, negotiating & conflict resolution skills
