Join us as a Business Development Manager on Red Hat, where your passion for engagement and enablement will set you apart. Your mission: to ignite sales opportunities and cultivate a vibrant partner ecosystem for Red Hat enterprise open-source software solutions in New Zealand.

Your journey as a Business Development Manager will be driven by your passion for engagement and empowerment. Your ability to connect with various business levels will distinguish you, as you ignite excitement and drive sales opportunities aligned with Red Hat Cloud solutions in the dynamic New Zealand market. You'll sculpt a vibrant partner ecosystem, fuelling brand passion and fostering growth.

  • Craft and execute a strategic ‘Business Development Plan’ to elevate both Ingram Micro and Red Hat presence in the NZ market.
  • Co-create a dynamic marketing strategy with our Red Hat Product Marketing Manager to amplify the “Red Hat is the leading provider of enterprise open-source software solutions” message out to the market.
  • Implement strategy to build pipeline coverage and achieve agreed revenue and margin objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Red Hat Account Managers and authorised Partners to promote Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation and OpenShift AI to targeted end-users.
  • Forge credible and profitable relationships across all stakeholders, becoming the cornerstone of trust.
  • Equip and embolden Red Hat channel partners, to help maximize our collective impact.
  • Secure "new business growth" within existing Ingram reseller accounts, to expand our reach.
  • Unearth and empower fresh Red Hat Partners, to invigorate the market with new perspectives.
  • Cultivate a robust Cloud Service Provider business within the Red Hat Partner community, to breathe new life and impetus into traditional reseller channels.
  • Champion Red Hat’s Certified Cloud Service Provider (CCSP) offerings and showcase how they enable partners to increase revenue and profitability by delivering hosted or managed services based on Red Hat’s industry-leading Kubernetes and Linux® open-source technologies along with hybrid cloud professional services.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

As our Red Hat Business Development Manager, we seek someone with a track record in sales, particularly within Enterprise Open-Source Software solutions, Managed Services or Hybrid Cloud solutions. Your forte lies in working with Partners to craft complex solutions, which leverage opportunities for Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation and OpenShift licence sales and/or CCSP subscriptions.
