The co-op student will support the Chief Engineering group within Cargo Systems. They will also support the Chief Engineers as part of the Program Office to manage the engineering execution of Cargo programs. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June- December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

This is an onsite role based out of Jamestown, ND. May be eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Track the execution of the programs towards their business objectives and milestones
  • Gather technical and programmatic statuses
  • Assess risks and opportunities & develop recovery plans
  • Maintain schedules and reports to management
  • Work with many disciplines as part of the Value Stream Integrated Product Team, including Program and Design/Functional Engineering, Earned Value Management, Operations, Quality and Contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
