What you will do:

  • Leads the field French HR organization and reports to the HR Director for South Europe.
  • Drives the implementation, communication and flawless deployment & execution of all multi-discipline HR policies, procedures, processes and initiatives at country level.
  • Responsible for day-to-day application of the various HR disciplines in assigned country. Advises & coaches local management.
  • Ensures HR readiness for launch of key business strategic objectives, developments and/or organizational change.
  • Liaises for all strategic HR matters with appropriate HR business partners and/or HR Centre of Excellence (COE) and pro-actively checks on country & business readiness for launch and implementation.
  • Ensure full legal compliance at country level (e.g. labour & tax laws, etc.).
  • Fosters and promotes a climate of constructive industrial and labour relations. Takes initiatives that promote positive employee engagement and inspire trust.
  • Leads the compliance effort at country level through ensuring all mandatory HR policies are launched and adhered to, integrity trainings are organized and participated to by the required employees. Submits reports and metrics as and when required.
  • Ensures 100% data integrity. Regularly checks/audits on compliance ratios and takes appropriate action to remedy where needed. Strives for continuous improvement through implementing local process enhancements & sharing best practices;
  • Owns HR operational excellence when translating business strategies & decisions into effective & compliant execution of all related HR policies and processes. Fosters and promotes a climate of execution discipline.
  • Prepares HR reports and analysis, key ratio and data, including decision-making recommendations for all positions within assigned country.
  • Is responsible for compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
  • Leads and develops a small team of HR
  • Scope: multi-business and multi-site, including a manufacturing plant in Nantes.

How you will do it:

  • Responsible for HR operational excellence through the flawless execution of all mandatory, corporate & regional HR policies, processes & tools within assigned country.
  • Focal point for flawless execution / implementation of key corporate programs & HRIT systems that impact or involve employees, such as ethics, integrity, employee engagement etc.
  • Provides timely input on business & country readiness and develops & monitors action plans as and when required.
  • Leads all change management efforts in execution of key business decisions or projects, e.g. organizational change, restructuring, etc.
  • Executes all required HR activities in line with corporate standards & directives and legal requirements.
  • Provide country-specific input to the HR Business Partners or HR COE Departments when designing and/or revising HR policies & guidelines, including feedback on business & country readiness & feasibility (e.g. legal, Work Council requirements, etc.).
  • Educates & coaches local management down to branch staff on key HR policies & programs.
  • Provides regular reporting & feedback on execution compliance. Strives for continuous improvement through defining and implementing process enhancements and sharing of best practices.
  • Recruits and develops high-performing HR teams for assigned country. Maximize performance through quality staffing, performance management, coaching, development & succession planning.
  • Builds a climate that energizes team members and drives accountability
  • Prepares and delivers clear performance expectations, performance reviews and development / improvement plans for direct reports. Ensures a consistent level of coaching.
  • In addition to the above & below mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

  • Responsible for the correct application of all Corporate & Regional Compensation & Benefits policies, processes and tools

Employee & Labor Relations

  • Defines & implements the Labor Relations strategy and standards at country level and ensures proper execution & compliance. Escalates any non compliance to next level HR leadership.

Talent Acquisition

  • Provides input to annual hiring Plan as developed by the business & collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team.

Learning & Development

  • Liaises with the Learning & Development COE in order to ensure that appropriate training programs are designed that meet business & country needs.
  • Supports the annual performance management process at regional level down to branch staff. Educates all regional management on the correct & consistent application of performance management related policies, processes & tools.
  • Supports HR leadership & HR business partners with the leadership assessment & strategic talent review processes for employees in assigned country.

What we look for :

  • Master degree / MBA or equivalent through experience
  • Min. 8 years of progressive HR experience up to a managerial position in France / field HR work is a must
  • HR qualification/ certification is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of employee / industrial relations
  • Good financial skills & business understanding
  • Experience in working successfully in a multinational, matrix driven organization
  • Good understanding of business dynamics and organizational design
