IHS has flagged the Senior Journalist job as unavailable. Let’s keep looking.

Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a graduate journalist on a permanent basis to join our Central Banking brand out of our London offices.

You would cover central banks worldwide. This is a great job either for a graduate looking for a challenge or a journalist looking to cover a new beat. We will equip you with the skills and access to write about some of the most important economic policy decisions in the world today.

The successful candidate will not necessarily have prior journalistic experience. They will, however, need intelligence, enthusiasm, energy and writing ability. They must also demonstrate an interest in finance, economic policy and/or digital transformation, a willingness to learn and the ability to master complex topics.

In return, our experienced team of editors will give the right candidate on-the-job training and support. You will be writing news articles from early on in this role. Once established, you should expect to be writing in-depth features and interviewing top policy-makers.

Language skills and a knowledge of economics, finance or data science are an advantage, but are not essential. You will however need to rapidly learn about economics, finance and transformative technology.

The successful candidate is expected to begin the role from April this year, working full time. Consequently, the role is only open to current graduates. Undergraduates should not apply (but can express an interest in future roles to our HR department). There is the potential for the right candidate to move to the US, Asia or Europe, should they be willing to do so.

Founded in 1990, Central Banking is the leading independent publication covering all activities related to central banks, financial supervisors, sovereign wealth funds and multi-lateral institutions. It is part of Infopro Digital, a leading player in the business-to-business information services industry.
