Job Summary

We are currently looking for a motivated and passionate colleague to join our local teams in France and Benelux, as well as our European Human Resources (HR) team. In this exciting position you will be based at DKSH France in Lyon, leading one (1) HR Apprentice and together, you will be providing the full range of Human Resources services to the business. You will be working closely with the Management Team in France and Benelux ensuring that resources and processes are aligned to deliver business success.

You will be contributing to a cohesive team with entrepreneurial mindset, embedding flexibility, agility and customer-focused values in your deliverables.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical business partnering advice to local management teams in France and Benelux on full range of Human Resources services to align with business goals
  • Manage HR departmental operating targets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
  • Advise/influence management decisions that carry short-/long-term human capital implications in line with business direction
  • Drive recruiting planning strategies (e.g. forecasting, short-/medium-term manpower requirements, etc.) to align with, and meet, business demand and HR cost control
  • Develop/review talent management for critical leadership positions and develop talent readiness/transition strategies
  • Collaborate with the management team on organization design changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness (e.g. due diligence, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive employee performance excellence
  • Drive market-driven/benchmarked compensation decisions to maximize total compensation investment/return
  • Develop short-/long-term training and development strategies to cater for development needs
  • Drive excellence of HR services delivery, systems and work tools utilization to streamline work processes across functions in efficient and scalable manner
  • Review periodical reports to provide validated HR metrics and benchmarks to support business decisions
  • Drive, together with line manager, employee engagement initiatives to increase employee engagement, performance, retention and training environments
  • Drive monthly payroll processing in France and Benelux with an emphasis on accuracy, safekeeping and timeliness
  • Collaborate with business leaders in developing change management initiative to address human capital matters

Your Profile

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or similar related discipline with strong understanding of French labor law, Benelux labor law as an advantage
  • Minimum three (3) years´ working experience in a similar position
  • Minimum one (1) year working experience within a French company having more than 50 employees
  • Excellent and fluent writing and speaking skills in both French and English
  • Efficient, proactive, systematic and well organized, able to execute multiple projects simultaneously, attentive to detail, trustworthy and sensitive to other cultures
  • Dedicated team player with strong communication skills, performance and learning competence, self-initiative and sense of personal responsibility, result-oriented
  • Pronounced sense of adherence to quality even in hectic situations
  • Extensive MS Office, SAGE and SAP HR knowledge
  • Based in our office in Lyon-Miribel and willing to travel on a regular basis to DKSH Benelux in Roermond/Netherlands
