Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join a growing client in Denver, CO.

Onsite Requirement: 5 days a week onsite in Downtown Denver, CO

Duration: 1.5-2 year contract

Compensation: $21-23/hr

POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides administration and support in an office setting such as supporting PC and printer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing PC and printer hardware, operating system, software applications, and peripherals support.
  • Images pcs and helps with pc refresh projects.
  • Manages assets appropriately.
  • Works in coordination with teammates and leadership to develop and maintain processes and documentation.
  • Seeks to understand and address customer needs and expectations through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Works independently and shows initiative in resolving intermediate support issues and requests and escalates complex issues to more senior members of the team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinates the operational role for low complexity projects and works closely with other business groups.
  • Maintains a neat and organized workspace to prevent loss of items.
  • Ensures that inventory is managed routinely and consistently.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested. 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

IT Experience must include the following:

  • 1+ years of experience of desktop experience 
  • Hardware deployment such as desktops, printers, peripherals
  • Experience with a ticketing system
  • Software Installations
  • Microsoft Windows based desktop hardware
  • Windows 7/10
  • Microsoft Office 2016 including Outlook
  • Printer Deployment on Windows Servers
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and wireless network problems

Skills must include the following

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse constituency
  • Must be able to work independently
