The Country HR Business Partner plays a critical role in aligning the HR strategy with the overall business objectives of the organization. This position serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and provides strategic HR guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and initiatives at the country level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and drive organizational performance. Conduct regular assessments of HR needs, workforce planning, and talent acquisition strategies to ensure the availability of a skilled and diverse workforce. Provide insights and recommendations on HR trends, best practices, and innovative approaches to enhance HR programs and processes.
  • Employee Relations and Performance Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution. Support the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Analyze performance data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in employee performance and engagement.
  • Talent Development and Succession Planning: Identify key talent and high-potential employees, working closely with managers to develop and implement robust development plans. Collaborate with corporate HR and learning and development teams to deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and competencies. Drive succession planning efforts by identifying critical roles, assessing talent readiness, and implementing strategies to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the compensation and benefits team to design and implement competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations regarding compensation, benefits, and employment practices. Provide guidance on salary administration, incentive programs, and rewards and recognition initiatives.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Interpret and communicate corporate HR policies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits to assess HR compliance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate HR-related risks and resolve any legal issues related to HR practices.
  • Provides coaching and feedback on how to improve individual and organizational performance to meet strategic and tactical goals and objectives
  • Be a strong partner to the country leader and leadership team of each country to work on driving synergy across divisions and country specific activities

You bring:

  • Min. 8 years in a HR generalist role with at least 5 years of solid experience in talent acquisition and business partnering
  • A bachelor degree in Business, HR or relevant disciplines 
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and other HR-related software.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to provide solutions and value creation
  • Ability to manage priorities and to deliver results within short deadlines; good planning and organization skills.
