Job Description

As the largest provider of IT services, Leidos develops and sustains large data and technology infrastructures and integrates complex IT systems for several US federal and international agencies. This US-based position will support a UK effort focused on maximizing the public safety benefits of fingerprints and facial matching. With biometric technology developing at pace, and with new biometrics emerging rapidly, this landscape brings with it many important choices for Government, especially how to maximize the potential benefits to the public whilst protecting the privacy of the individual and addressing any potential impact of data aggregation. The program will transform the existing biometrics capabilities into a technically converged, but commercially disaggregated, strategic biometrics capability.

In support of this, the Test Engineer will play an important role in the verification and validation of critical releases. The selected candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have the ability to drive projects forward with limited oversight and adapt to changing priorities. Experience with writing and executing manual system, integration, and regression tests is essential, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into test plans.
