Job Description Details

The Business Analyst II will create and maintain key performance reports and business metrics to inform business performance, identify areas of opportunity through data analysis and provide key insights to business leaders. Identify areas of the business where data and metric are needed to better understand and improve results.

At times, this role will be asked to support cross-functional projects that will involve redesigning processes across our Supply Chain to improve customer satisfaction, safety, quality, cost, efficiency and on-time delivery. Critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, a passion for problem solving, and the ability to concisely communicate opportunity and risks to senior management are a must.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and expand the qurate group supply chain capabilities by collaborating with other teams, and analysts to build robust analytical reporting systems to measure and improve supply chain health, fulfillment operational excellence, transportation efficiencies and customer experience.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets by utilizing SQL, ETL, Tableau to shape data, understand historical trends and patterns
  • Create operational and executive metrics to increase program visibility and drive continuous improvement. Perform ad-hoc analysis to drive business decisions on process improvement and project prioritization.
  • Identify data gaps, create business requirements and work with the Business Intelligence team to drive improved visibility.
  • Experienced with managing change and driving change throughout the organization
  • Experience or willingness to learn the following analytic tools: Python, R or VBA
  • Develop and implement business processes at Fulfillment Centers to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery experience for our Fulfillment network.
  • Develop feedback loops and business processes across the Fulfillment network.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability clearly communicate in business terms with senior management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or BA degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Operations. MBA or Technical Masters preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience as an analyst in business analysis, supply chain or operations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and moderate to advanced SQL skills
