A Day in the Life

The incumbent will manage and develop trustworthy relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors and other customers in the assigned territory.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Function as a subject matter expert on assigned products, and monitor industry trends and develop business plans to meet the sales targets in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
  • Manage and build on strategic relationships with existing customers whilst acquiring new customer accounts.
  • Develop sales plans, activities and campaigns and manage the day-to-day sales activities.
  • Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients to maintain product loyalty, and increase market share.
  • Co-operate and manage distributors in terms of selling activities, channels management, inventory tracking, forecasting, coaching and training.
  • Provide continuous clinical and technical support during cases.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and that documented processes, procedures and internal quality management system are followed and adhered to.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities or customer complaints relating to the product, procedure and quality system.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of annual marketing and training agenda
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue and margin targets.

Must Have

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services

Your Profile

  • 2-5 years of previous sales experience in medical devices, medical equipment or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Existing network in medical device industry will be an asset
  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
