Job Description and Qualifications
Air Products is looking for MBA candidates for our Summer Intern Program. An MBA summer internship will expose you to a variety of real work experiences in Finance with the ultimate goal of helping you identify and enhance your professional skills, interests and potential. Our MBA Summer Interns are challenged with actual work experiences and given a broad perspective of our operations and objectives.
Some of the assignments we've traditionally offered in finance include (but are not limited to) the following: Business-aligned operating areas, corporate controllership, corporate strategy, and treasury organizations. In the operating areas, financial analysts are generally responsible for providing complete financial decision support for a particular product line or business unit. Additional work includes capital investment analysis and other financial aspects of key business operations such as marketing, production and engineering.
Financial analysts utilize the most current financial sales and cost analysis techniques and develop financial models while working with the accounting systems appropriate to their assigned area. Planning Analysts use the breadth of their business and analytical skills to help assess and define the long-range direction and strategy for Air Products as a whole, or a specific operating group. In addition to supporting the ongoing strategic planning process that requires contact with both the profit centers and corporate staff functions, individuals in these assignments may find themselves enmeshed in acquisition efforts or major new market studies.
Commercial assignments may be available in Sourcing and Supply Chain.
