Job Summary:

As an Analyst for the strategic planning, you will be part of a team that is responsible for forecasting trends, company and department metrics, and resource plans for the benefit operations. You will help build the long-term forecasting, budget, and resource plans for multiple lines of business. Help build out the forecasts and budget processes that drive our business results and supports more than 9 million members and hundreds of clients. These long-term forecasts and resource plans determine the need for our overall production and non-production staffing.

This analyst will work cross-functionally with finance and operations. They will generate dashboard metrics from tableau and salesforce data. They will have a deep knowledge in tableau and excel with the ability to create complex excel resource plans that drive our budget. They will have the ability to present their findings to managers and operations leaders.

The accuracy of the strategic forecast is a key driver to the operations team abilities to provide timely decisions to members, prescribers, and clients within the forecasted spend. The team will be supporting the operation teams as they work across multiple clients, lines of business and sources. By providing accurate strategic forecasts to the operations team, they will be able to meet client expectations to avoid risk associated with performance guarantees.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for forecasting trends, company and department metrics, and resource plans for the lines of business we support.
  • Help build out the budget and reforecast process for this department.
  • Ability to use excel and tableau to build a resource plan that will drive the budget and reforecast.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance and operations.
  • Engage with leaders of the line of business on key metrics and targets.
  • Build out resource models and generate dashboard metrics from tableau and salesforce data.
  • Ability to build and present monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and findings to operational and finance leaders.
  • Providing guidance to operational leaders in developing an overall strategic strategy that will drive optimal outcomes.
  • Manage and use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of monthly and long-term forecasting experience
  • 2+ years of resource planning knowledge and background
  • Budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Presentation skills and experience in front of leadership and executives
  • 2+ years of Excel and tableau knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry or other Operations experience
  • Knowledge of salesforce and other data collection tools
  • Tableau Dashboard Visualization Experience
  • Utilization of Salesforces

Skill In:

  • Presenting forecast or resource plans to operational leaders
  • 1+ years of Project Planning
  • Advanced Excel formula’s
  • Exceptional Organization & Communication skills
  • Utilization of Microsoft tools and Tableau

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $89,300.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
