Street Maintenance is responsible for filling potholes, repaving streets, sweeping streets, and removing snow from public streets and alleys. The Division manages the City’s 2,150 centerline miles and 5,135 alleys to ensure mobility and safety for residents and visitors. The Division also manages the City’s asphalt plant, which produces asphalt for resurfacing and maintaining city streets and alleys.
The Street Maintenance group within the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure has an opening for an Equipment Operator III (Crusher / Screener). This is a unique position; in that it will be responsible for operating a stationary recycled asphalt crusher/screener.
