Job Description: 

Senior AI Algorithms Engineer - Computer Vision and 3D Sensing Intel Vision-Incubation org is defining the state of the art in 2D and 3D sensing, used for robot safety and navigation, for industrial measurement, retail and a broad set of use cases and customers. The org's CTO group is working on future generation sensing technologies and disruptive products innovation. We are looking for a Senior Algorithms expert to join our team and work on the next generation technology and products. You will build machine learning based products/solutions which provide descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, or prescriptive models based on data. Develop machine learning algorithms such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, Bayesian analysis, and/or others to solve applied problems in various disciplines such as data analytics, computer vision, and robotics. Interact with users and stakeholders to define requirements for breakthrough product/solutions. In either research environments or specific product environments, work with implementation teams to utilize current programming methodologies to translate machine learning models and data processing methods into software. Complete programming, testing, debugging, documentation and/or deployment of algorithmic solution.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience as algorithms engineer in research or RnD capacity.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with modern computer vision and AI algorithms, such as object recognition, segmentation, dense estimation.
  • Experience with training deep learning and machine learning models to robust and high-quality performance
  • Experience with defining algorithmic solutions for implementation in real time software and/or hardware (RTL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of AI pipelines for computer vision: Keras, Pytorch. Data management, generation, and augmentation. Loss functions and common training recipes. Common visual backbones and relevant MLops tools.
  • Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art stereo based 3D sensing including feature extraction, epipolar geometry, image matching (including AI and classical methods)
  • Knowledge in 3D, projective, and multiple view geometry including camera calibration, hymnographies, camera pose, and joint camera pose estimation, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in optimization algorithms: SGD, bundle adjustment, etc.
