As a member of ESO’s Product team, you will be collaborating with our prehospital and hospital product domains, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and data engineers to provide and support customers with data visualizations. The ideal candidate has a passion for data and learning new product technologies. 

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Data Science and APIs, you will be part of our Product Strategy team based in our Belfast Office. 

What You’ll Be Doing - the day-to-day:

In this dynamic role, you will spearhead the development of scalable processes to produce highly impactful dashboards for our suite of products. By blending the responsibilities of an Associate Product Owner with those of a BI Analyst, you will be at the forefront of requirements gathering at scale and data visualization, facilitating data-driven decisions across our product portfolio. You consistently assess the value/why behind any action. You believe in our mission. You enjoy creative problem-solving and learning new skills. You enjoy collaboration and getting first-hand feedback from cross-product domain owners.

Responsibilities: 

  • Architect and refine our dashboard development process, ensuring seamless collaboration across platforms with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and customers.
  • Lead the entire lifecycle of reporting, from gathering requirements to developing sophisticated data models and constructing interactive reports using visualization tools such as Sisense, PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Foster cross-platform coordination among teams to provide consistent and valuable visualizations tailored to each sector's needs.
  • Make our customers’ reporting experience as amazing as possible using your understanding of data analysis and visualization. 
  • Play multiple roles including data discovery, analysis, and specifying changes to how reports and dashboards create and maintain information. 
  • Conducts root cause analysis on data issues throughout the life cycle of the data platform and triages data issues reported by users in reporting production systems. 

Who You Are - Some of the essential things required to be successful in the role:  

  • Passionate for transforming data into meaningful information and actionable outcomes.
  • Experience developing frameworks and leading complex cross-product projects. 
  • Previous experience in healthcare data storage, analysis, and visualization using BI tools such as Sisense, PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau. 
  • Proven ability to multi-task and coordinate with multiple teams. 
  • History of working closely with product and technology teams and ability to work collaboratively to get results. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. 

Who You Are - the desirables (It’s a plus if you have):  

  • Real-life clinical experience (EMT, paramedic, nursing, etc) or demonstrated interest in emergency services/community engagement. 
  • Proficiency in SQL including complex queries and schema development. 
  • Experience developing visualizations using open-source libraries such as D3.JS.
