As an Accounting/ Finance Project Manager you will be a part of PNC's Corporate Finance staff working at the PNC Equipment Finance line of business with over $13 billion in assets. Your position will be based in the Equipment Finance headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio where you will work within a team of fifteen accounting and finance professionals led by the PNC Equipment Finance CFO. You will be reporting to the Finance Project Manager of this division. This position is based out of Cincinnati, OH.
As a senior member of the Finance Projects and Technology team, you will manage various financial projects which requiring in-depth understanding of our financial data. The analysis will require advanced technical skills and will require you to independently gather, analyze and summarize data, and to effectively communicate those results. In addition, you will provide guidance to the non-finance members of your project teams with regards to the application of the appropriate finance or accounting methods within a project.
Your duties and responsibilities may include the following:
Participation on project teams dealing with system conversions and enhancements.
Lease accounting system maintenance, research, and projects.
Preparation of Corporate reporting packages.
Assist with mapping and analysis of data extracts.
Special projects and ad-hoc data or analysis requests.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required with an advanced degree or certification preferred.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel is required, experience with SQL, Visual Basic and Hyperion Essbase is preferred.
Five plus years of progressively responsible financial analysis or accounting project work is required.
Strong working knowledge of general accounting, accounting systems, financial reporting and financial analysis.
Banking or Equipment Leasing experience is preferred.
Strong project management skills and high aptitude for problem solving.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, independent self-starter.
Well organized, resourceful, and detail oriented.
