Business Background

The A3 OPS GBU Marketing organization is charged with delivering products that propel HP to a strong leadership position as a products and solutions provider for both the transactional and contractual sales motions


  • Serve as future product marketing manager for future printing devices in the small work team, workgroup and department product categories 
  • Provide marketing leadership for devices as they move through the product life cycle
  • Develop Contractual A4 strategies and drive integration of these strategies with A4 FPM team
  • Develop the strategy and final pricing proposal for each products’ bundles and recommendations for A4 product pricing strategies
  • Develop compelling value propositions for customers and channel partners
  • Work with the appropriate Office Printing Business unit, country, WW marketing and region teams to launch products
  • Represent the product marketing plans to customers, partners, and business management as required
  • Develop innovation concepts for the transactional and contractual markets
  • Collaborate with experience design team to identify and prioritize insight driven, customer focused innovations
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve understanding of the customer
  • Identify primary research needs required to fill knowledge gaps

Education and Experience Required: 

  • College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Highly knowledgeable of product/solution family and the business needs of the target customers
  • Understanding of the copier market and contractual go to market motion
  • 7 years experience in product marketing fundamentals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years IT industry experience
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams

  • Proven ability to work and lead initiative across different regions

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Proven ability to independently develop well formulated strategies

  • Ability to drive results and manage multiple projects

  • Strong communication skills


  • MBA
  • Minimum of 5 years future product marketing experience
  • Proven ability leading product definition and delivery
  • Proven ability to work with technical teams and drive to effective customer solutions
  • Experience in marketing areas other than product marketing (region experience, category management, market development, solutions marketing, etc.)
