Education Administrator
The NYC Public Schools Computer Science Education team in the Office of Student Pathways, is seeking to fill up to 50, Assistant Principal/Supervisor positions to participate in critical professional development related to Computer Science education PD and the development of curriculum related to computer science course implementation, practices, and engagement for school communities.
Remote and/or in-person at various locations throughout the NYC 5 boroughs.
NYCDOE Licensed and appointed Assistant Principals/Supervisors
Preference given to:
July 2024 – December 21, 2024; Weekdays/after school and weekend PD. Hours: flexible (approximately 250 hours).
Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.

NOTE: Service exceeding the number of hours specified in Chancellor’s Regulation C-175 governing per session activities requires prior approval. The appropriate Per Session Supervisor must make the request via the Per Session Service System and receive approval before the person can begin working in the activity. Failure to obtain a valid waiver may result in the withholding of payment for hours worked beyond the maximum.
