IT applications team owns the Enterprise platform that host the mission critical applications for Informatica. This includes the Sales marketing, eCommerce, CRM, Finance and HR applications. The platforms include Jive, Salesforce, Coveo Search, Enterprise Data Management using Informatica tools. The delivery team develops and supports the applications running on these platforms. We are a dynamic team spread across geographies serving internal and external customers.
You will be part of a highly talented, tightly knit and enthusiastic team and will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting multiple web applications. The role responsibilities entail :
Design, develop and support customizations and enhancements for multiple web applications.
Work with project managers and customers to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines
Interact with business analyst to clarify requirements, manage project delivery, and obtain feedback on deliverables
Strong experience is converting wireframes into HTMLs and UI development with strong command on CSS with focus on responsive design with proficiency in Bootstrap and other UI frameworks
Experience implementing and interacting with RESTful services.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience developing Java-based web or Enterprise applications. Strong understanding of software architecture, Design patterns and common frameworks like including Struts 2 , Spring and Hibernate
Experience using build automation tools (Maven, Jenkins)
Familiarity with deployment with Tomcat application server.
Comfortable working with SQL
Understanding of Cloud concepts including understanding the API’s for managing the environment and metering(AWS EC2/S3 or Azure)
Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with peers and management, including interacting with a globally dispersed team
Experience in the full product lifecycle, preferably Agile.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment. Quick grasp of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into technical designs
Good problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Four year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering
Experience on Jive SBS plugin, themes and Add on Development.
Hands on with deployments and configurations on AWS including but not limited to EC2, S3, SES/ SQS, Lambda
Experience in deployments on Azure including VM and solution template creation and listing
Understanding of search concepts with experience in implementing any search technology (Lucene, Solr, Elastic Search)
Basic knowledge of UNIX
Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts like catalog and order management, payment gateway etc and basic CRM concepts like customer management, lead, prospects, opportunity, Support models
