Position will provide HR Business Partner (HRBP) support to assigned Program Managers as well as individual employees in accomplishing program deliverables while ensuring broader HR initiatives are communicated and completed in a timely manner. This position will support a deployed workforce supporting flying and maintenance operations (domestic and international) and will be the single point of contact for all Human Resources needs, to include but not limited to recruitment, positive employee relations and engagement, on-boarding and orientation activities, conflict resolution/investigation of disciplinary issues, payroll issues, compensation actions, etc. as required.
This position is responsible for providing effective guidance to program management regarding the development of staffing and compensation plans for specific proposals or other program development initiatives including: researching policies and procedures governing international assignments and coordinating with Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition and Comp & Benefits POCs to ensure proper administration of premiums, allowances and employee data changes.
The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor, positively engaging with program leadership to influence and positively impact the organization by identifying resources and formulating/presenting actionable recommendations/options for leadership consideration. Provides leaders with coaching, consultation, and guidance regarding effective management of people, structure, organization effectiveness, and workforce planning. The HRBP is responsible for aligning HR initiatives with program needs and identifying retention strategies to support program performance.
In this role, the HRBP performs under general direction; participates in determining objectives for their program; plans, schedules and arranges their own activities to accomplish objectives. In addition, the position will be responsible for working on special projects as assigned. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

BA/BS in Humans Resources or related field and 3-5 years experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
Direct experience supporting a deployed workforce
Experience leading and managing projects and initiatives, including developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, preparing communication plans, identifying of milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/results
Experience conducting investigations to include information and data gathering, analyzing information, and validating conclusions.
PHR or SPHR certification
1-2 years experience working in the aviation, defense or government contracting industry
