Role Mission

This role will collaborate closely with the CFO and other executive team members to identify, assess, and execute organic and inorganic strategic opportunities aligned with Ataccama’s vision and goals. The Director will be a data-driven leader, using analytics and insights to assess strategic levers, identify and analyze opportunities, and determine critical supporting initiatives. The role will support the assessment, strategy development and planning associated with new business initiatives, new capabilities, and other strategic efforts, partnering with functional leaders or other resources as required.

Your Challenge

  • Formulate and refine our corporate strategy by evaluating industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Support organic and inorganic strategy development at the Corporate level and across Ataccama by working collaboratively with leaders across the business.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive and market research and draw implications for Ataccama. Identify growth opportunities, potential markets, and customer segments that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Seek out, negotiate, and oversee alliances and strategic partnerships with industry leaders, suppliers, and stakeholders to spur business growth.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and evaluate business cases for new product lines and large-scale inorganic expansions.
  • Project manage and apply analytical and decision support skills to lead ‘special projects’ that advance key strategic priorities for the company and/or specific businesses.
  • Analyze financial data, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate the financial implications of strategic decisions. Construct financial models and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Identify, define, and articulate industry, technology and emerging trends and how they may affect Ataccama’s business and end markets.
  • Develop materials to support the communication of the company’s strategy in executive-level forums, such as Board of Directors meetings.

Is This You?

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, corporate development, strategy, M&A, consulting or related roles including broad-based experience in strategy and market/financial analysis.
  • Excellent critical thinking, project management, analytical, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in working independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and high EQ
  • Ability to work effectively and manage relationships with senior executives.
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Relevant software industry experience preferred.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to align business goals with market opportunities.
