Summary:

Dexcom is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced talent development professional to join the team as a Sr Learning & Development Specialist, EMEA. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility & commitment and the ability to work within a rapidly growing and changing global environment. 

About the Role:

  • Responsible for the delivery and oversight of the key program management components for our various learning/development programs and/or systems, the facilitation of several learning key programs and the support of development of our ongoing career and leadership programs (60% of time represents training facilitation and delivery).
  • Under the direction of the Talent & Diversity Manager for EMEA, manages key activities in support of the implementation and ongoing management of our current systems (enterprise wide LMS) and/or learning programs (talent pipelines, etc…).
  • Supports Talent Development initiatives through learning consultation, instructional design, facilitation, and evaluation of the impact of these initiatives.
  • Facilitates and drives any associated stakeholder meetings, documents decisions, and works closely with Talent & Diversity (T&D) leadership for guidance, reporting, and approval (as needed).
  • With T&D leadership, leads the evolution of our global training practices, standards, and procedures for our systems and programs to positively impact the overall learning experience of employees.
  • Collaborates with various team members and SMEs to conduct needs assessment and determine appropriate development option(s).
  • Collaborates with LMS specialist and Core/Functional Team members to determine, review, and update components associated with learning programs and/or systems.
  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with T&D Leadership, HR partners and other internal stakeholders through open, responsive, and transparent communications.
  • Collaborates with T&D leadership and HR to support enterprise-wide global policies and procedures.
  • Partners across the Talent & Diversity team to maintain learning programs portfolio.
  • Provides program and/or project management expertise, best practices, and resources to members of the Talent & Diversity team.
  • Supports Talent Development initiatives through learning consultation, instructional design (as needed), facilitation, etc. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

About You: 

  • Professional Certifications in globally delivered leadership courses such as Situational Leadership, Franklin Covey, or other similar leadership course(s).
  • 2 - 5 years experience in Talent Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent English skills. Second European language (German, French, Spanish) would be huge advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate problems and formulate an effective course of action for development and/or developed-related actions from a regional and global perspective.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) as either administrator or super-administrator.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, program management skills, and Collaboration and ability to work across a matrix environment in an international set-up, across EMEA geographies.
  • Ability to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of vendors and/or 3rd parties as it relates to development resources and/or materials against business needs.
  • Experience in curriculum development software such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and Workday.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €4,157.92 to €4,891.67 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
