Senior Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee projects involving Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud services, and MicroStrategy reporting and analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, a deep understanding of the technologies we use, and the ability to drive project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of projects within defined timelines and budget constraints.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.

MicroStrategy Implementation:

  • Drive MicroStrategy projects from conception to implementation, ensuring data visualization and reporting solutions meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Microsoft Technology Expertise:

  • Show in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, and Power BI.
  • Leverage expertise to make informed decisions, guide technical discussions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Azure Cloud Services:

  • Oversee projects related to Azure cloud services, ensuring effective resource utilization, scalability, and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions on the Azure platform.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives, business owners, and technical teams.
  • Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational strategies and goals.

Risk Management:

  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact.
  • Monitor and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce best practices for project management, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in Microsoft technology environments.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects involving MicroStrategy and Microsoft technologies, Azure, and Power BI.
