The local PS&C Coordinator is responsible for the Process Control & Automation domain. He acts as a Senior Process Control & Automation Engineer and manages the PS&C team to support all functions at site. He is accountable for management of the Total lifecycle (Build, Support, Operations, Maintain, Improve) of Process Control Systems and related Applications.
He pro-actively supports initiatives in Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous improvement and as such drive value capture in the domain of PC&A, for the facility to run safely, reliable and cost effective.
He supports, gives guidance to management by setting up and supporting the implementation of the location DCS masterplan and the Process Control & Automation Roadmap.
He supports and participates together with EIA project organization in execution of the local CAPEX envelope projects. He supports larger CAPEX projects by assisting with feasibility studies, as-is situation, requirement specification, validation of handover
He leads, drives and champions the usage of common (SSE) solutions based on best practices
He reports into the Local Capital Effectiveness & Engineering Manager, functional aligns with the BU functions: PC&A
40% Identify new opportunities for process improvement (production data analyses & operator feedback); lead & drive the implementation of process control & automation strategies aligned with business objectives & best practices.
30% People management including mentoring/coaching/work distribution.
20% Focus on transitioning the local team into an effective, efficient and pro-active Process Control and Automation team, supporting all functions.
10% Setup, update and maintain the location DCS master plan, etc.
