Group Brand Manager, Shopper Marketing – Remote

The Job:

As a Group Brand Manager- Shopper Marketing you will part of the Shopper Marketing team working as remote worker. This position will lead shopper marketing projects in driving strategic and creative shopper marketing solutions that help connect the DEWALT, CUB CADET, HUSTLER and TROY BUILT brands with our Dealers and Shopper in the Outdoor channel. These programs include managing Shared Advertising Funds, in-store execution, and Dealer marketing support. You’ll also get to:

  • Provides coaching to direct report to enable development of team. 
  • Helps address issues and obstacles faced by team to enable project completion and proactively escalates issues to Sr. Marketing Director in timely manner. 
  • Oversees developing Shopper Marketing Programs in the Outdoor Channel and aligns recommendations with Marketing Director including Dealer Advertising Programs, creative asset creation to support dealer advertising programs, commercial sell-in support, trade and selling show shopper marketing support and brand standard deployment and consistent implementation of our brands. 
  • Oversees Shopper Marketing budgets to ensure spending is in line with plan, ensures team compliance with Finance guidelines and identifies cost savings. 
  • Influences Channel and Commercial teams to ensure adherence to brand standards and brands are appropriately brought to life across multiple touchpoints. 
  • Coordinates with in-house Studio and external agencies to ensure strategic objectives are being met and creative output is optimized. 
  • Writes clear and concise creative briefs, with actionable and specific communication strategies – and can coach direct reports on driving strategic thinking in marketing communication. 
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify and effectively communicate key insights and business opportunities that lead to actionable results – including user / channel research, media / creative learnings, etc. 
  • Develops new ideas to bring the right Customer Experience to life and express the Brand DNA. Drives recommendations on Customer Experience elements: Shopper Experience, Product & Package Design, Digital / Online Experience. 

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field. 
  • 3-6 years’ experience in a marketing or brand role. 
  • Proficiency using PowerPoint and strong presentation skills. 
  • Excellent analytical, time-management and project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects. 
  • Strong financial management and strategic thinking skills.
