The Weber Shandwick Bangalore office is currently seeking an Account Manager for its Technology practice.


Account Managers manage multiple accounts while building their proficiency and the necessary skills needed to lead and manage teams. Account Managers provide tactical counsel to clients, and manage the appropriate implementation on a variety of projects in a timely, deadline-focused basis. They are effective at performing and monitoring the performance of others in areas such as media pitching, writing, research, budgeting and account administration procedures. Account Managers supervise junior team members.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing client relationships on a day-to-day basis and implementing program activity in conjunction with team members
  • Supports the Account Director/Vice President in the development of client program plans
  • Translate industry issues such that they can be effectively pitched to media to the benefit of the client
  • Develop plans and create accurate budget estimates for clients
  • Provide ongoing counsel and guidance to junior agency team members and support the Account Director/Vice President in the professional development of team members.
