What You Would Do 

The Audit Associate assists their team by completing assigned tasks taking direction from Senior Associates, Supervisors, Managers and / or Partners. The Audit Associate will assist in gradually more complex items while gaining business knowledge and developing working relationships. They may develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and regulatory compliance agencies, if applicable and make recommendations as appropriate. This requires audit knowledge and skills in finance and accounting. 

Qualifications 

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure superior results and team success. 
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and accounting software. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written correspondence. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in an accounting related field from an accredited university or college is required. 
  • Internship experience in accounting or related field preferred. 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis. 
  • Must be working diligently toward Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure. 
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel (Mortgage Banking Audit specific) 

Pay 

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $75,000.
